Lamium is a trailing perennial that forms a loose mat of slender, oval shaped, serrated leaves. In the late spring this plant grows whorls- each whorl containing 5-6 blooms. In some regions Lamium is considered to be a noxious weed since it is so hard to control, it does best in open areas where is can truly spread.
