Mimosa pudica (Sensitive Plant)

Mimosa pudica
Sensitive Plant

The sensitive plant lives up to its name. Its delicate leaves are touch-sensitive and will fold up one after the other when disturbed and also at night. This fascinating defense mechanism make this a fun and interesting plant to grow. The leaves will unfurl again after a few minutes without disturbance and being touched does not harm the plant. As if this plant wasn't wild enough, it will bloom flowers that look like pink pom-poms! Give lots of light and some extra humidity for best results.
