Due to the high volume of donation requests received throughout the year, Green Things has adopted a standardized charitable giving policy. Unfortunately, due to the sheer volume of these requests we cannot offer ‘freebies’ but we will do our best to accommodate you. For professionals in the horticulture industry, we will provide you with low-ball rental rates and we will sell to you at our lowest discounted wholesale pricing. The bulk of our charitable donations occur during the holiday season, during this time we offer all non-profit organizations throughout Southern Arizona an opportunity to raise upwards of $20,000 by participating in Poinsettia Fundraising Programs. We now have two Fundraising programs available! If you wish to participate in either of these programs, please contact our Sales Manager via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or give our store a call at 520-299-9471 for more details.
With this program, you purchase Poinsettias at our lowest discounted wholesale rate. You are then responsible for organizing your fundraiser and selling as many Poinsettias as you can! Your organization will also need to establish pricing for resale, you then pocket the difference between what you sold the Poinsettias for and what you will be paying Green Things for them.
Option A is a standard fundraising method.
This program requires little to no organization on your part! Notify your organization that if they purchase Poinsettias here at Green Things, we will donate a portion of their purchase directly back to your organization. All that is required is that you provide Green Things with a current 501(c)(3) form and sign our partnership agreement. When your members come to Green Things and purchase their Poinsettias, we will then annotate the purchase and direct the fund back to your organization at the start of the following year. We do all the work!
Option B is our approach to a quicker/simpler fundraising method.
We also select one to two charities to support throughout the year as partners. This selection process is done in September for the upcoming fiscal year, which runs January through December. In addition, we also conduct joint fundraising events throughout the year with the goal of raising funds for both your organization, as well as Green Things. Most of these partnering events are held on the Green Things property.
