The Prostrate Acacia is an easy to care for evergreen- it has a low, spreading habit usually being grown as a ground cover. Instead of leaves, this plant has long, flat, ovate structures called phyllodes. In the Spring the Prostrate Acacia produces yellow flowers that add a beautiful pop of color to arid, desert gardens. This plant is very hardy and is drought and cold tolerant.
