Boasting an abundance of soft silver leaves, this variety of Artemesia was bred specifically for the gardens at Powis Castle in Wales. Surprisingly, this shrub does just as well here in Tucson. Some afternoon protection is ideal, but this mounding shrub can be acclimated to take full sun. It can withstand clay and rocky soil, making it a great choice for our area. Slightly fragrant foliage also helps deter pests like deer and rabbits.
