The saguaro might be the most iconic plant of the Sonoran Desert. Occurring at elevations up to 4000 feet, these can be found in full sun and reflected heat situations. Make sure to allow plenty of space for these to grow, mature specimens can reach up to 40 feet tall and 15 feet wide. Good drainage is essential.
