Agave parryi v. parryi Estrella™
Parry's Agave, Mescal Agave, Century Plant

This delightful accent is a tissue cultured selection of Agave parryi var. parryi. It has a very symmetrical form, with compact, nearly round rosettes. The blue lanceolate leaves have marginal teeth as well as a stout spine on the tip. A tall branching flower spike holds clusters of golden yellow flowers. As with most agaves, the mother plant will die after flowering.
