Long arching spikes of creamy white flowers decorate the tree in late spring and summer. Mexican Blue Palm is native to Baja California, and is as tough as its native habitat suggests. Plant in full sun, reflected heat, and in well drained soils. It also handles shade for part of the day. Supplemental irrigation will increase the growth rate, but plants will adapt to low water amounts as well.
