This native perennial shrub grows in gravelly, rocky locations at elevations from 3,000 to 7,000 feet. Small grey leaves cover the lower portion of this compact plant, while clusters of white to pink flowers are held above the foliage on long stalks during summer and early fall. Plant in full sun and well-drained soil.
