This Arizona native is a short-lived perennial wildflower, producing gorgeous lavender flowers in the springtime that attract butterflies. The small gray-green leaves have serrated edges and are covered with short white hairs. Plant in full sun to partial shade and well-drained soils. Although short-lived, this plant reseeds readily in the landscape.
