This hybrid is three way cross between Parkinsonia microphylla, P. florida, and P. aculeata. Thornless, fast-growing and upright, this tree is a popular choice for parking lots and streetscapes. The small compound leaves and smooth bark are lime green. Masses of yellow flowers are produced from March though May, with sporadic flowering during the summer months. Plant in full sun and well-drained soil, and be careful not to overwater.
