This compact herbaceous perennial has long, narrow, dark green leaves and blooms heavily during the warm months with showy tubular, petunia-like pink flowers. Plant in full sun or part shade, and provide moderate irrigation. Seedlings without the compact habit may come up in moist soils. Cut plants back in late winter to remove frost damage and encourage new growth.
