This showy variety of Sage was brought to us by renowned plantsman David Salman, who discovered it at his nursery up in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This plant has performed well for us in the low desert heat of Phoenix, but it absolutely shines in higher elevation gardens. Masses of raspberry red flowers are produced all through the warm season, but flowering slows down during the summer in the low deserts. Plant in full sun to partial shade and make sure to provide good drainage.
