This woody perennial is a three-way hybrid between Salvia mojavensis, S. clevelandii and S. dorrii. The small, aromatic silvery leaves provide an effective backdrop for the spikes bearing whorls of cobalt blue flowers. Flowers attract hummingbirds from spring through summer. Leaves are very aromatic when crushed or brushed against. Plant in full sun and very well-drained soils.
