This semi-deciduous, upright woody shrub has lush green compound leaves and procudes masses of orange trumpet-shaped flowers during the warm months. After flowering, a few narrow tan seed pods persist on the plant. It thrives in full sun and reflected heat exposures. Cut back as needed to remove frost damaged foliage and to generate fresh growth. Hummingbirds love the flowers!
