This dense, rounded shrub is covered with silver, pubescent leaves. Orange, marble-sized blossoms occur throughout the year, with the heavist bloom in spring and summer. They are not extremely showy, but they attract many butterflies. This Chihuahuan Desert native is very tolerant of heat, cold, intense sun and drought. Its densely-branched form requires little to no pruning.
