This evergreen Texas native has a densely branched, compact form with silver stems and tiny silver leaves. A selected clone out of Texas A&M University, it blooms repeatedly during the summer and fall with deep violet flowers. This selection is almost identical in appearance to Silver Cloud, but is smaller. The L. candidum varieties are especially susceptible to rotting out if over-watered; well-drained soil is essential! Plant this clone on a sunny slope for ideal drainage. It is paired below with Yucca rostrata, Hesperaloe parviflora Brakelights® PP# 21729, and Mexican poppies.
