This prostrate, dense, mounding perennial is native to the Mediterranean. Small, leathery dark green leaves are accented in the spring and summer by short spikes of lavender flowers. Prune back in late winter to revitalize the foliage and keep plants compact and tidy. Plant in full sun to part shade and well-drained soils.
